• The fourth film draws from the first half of the final book in the Twilight Saga – Breaking Dawn. The story picks up a few months after the conclusion of Eclipse with the wedding between Bella and Edward and the return of Jacob.
• Charts: The series’ most expensive film at that point ($110 million) made over $712 million worldwide at the box office. It is the fourth-highest-grossing movie from 2011.
• Reviews: Heavily centered around the wedding, honeymoon, and events soon after, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 received the harshest reviews from critics. The film has a 25% rating from critics but was seen favorably by 60% of viewers, according to Rotten Tomatoes.
• Music: The soundtrack for Breaking Dawn – Part 1 was led by a new single from Bruno Mars, “It Will Rain”. However, Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” is the most memorable track with the music video featuring scenes from Bella and Edward’s romantic journey. The video has over 2 billion views on YouTube and reached #31 on the Billboard Hot 100.
