• Reviews: Covering just the first half of the final book, the film carries a lot of the setup for the series conclusion in Part 2. It has a 77% rating from critics, but 85% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.
• Charts: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 earned over $295 million in the US and more than $976 worldwide. The film set new benchmarks for an Opening Weekend ($125 million) and the number of theaters for the series (4,125). Part 1 became the 7th highest-grossing film for 2007 in the US, but ranks 3rd internationally.
